About this Kayaking Tour
Romance your soul on our full moon tour as the moon always looks bigger, better and brighter from the water.
This is a great opportunity to see the lights of the hillside community of Ladysmith, experience the magic of phosphorescence and listen to the silence of the night.
Where do we go?
We'll head across to Woods Island, paddle around Bute and Dunsmuir Islands and along Shell Beach - all within the quiet, sheltered waters of the Ladysmith Harbour. We will follow the moonrays back to shore and enjoy a warm beverage and baked goodies.
Complimentary Introductory Lesson
Our certified kayak guides will fit you into your kayak, your pfd (personal floatation device) provide a complimentary basic paddling skills lesson onshore and help you get in and out of your kayak.
Cost: $52.00 per person plus 12% HST. Includes gear and post kayaking treats!
What is phosphorescence you ask? It's a light produced by the bioluminescence of living organisms ranging from bacteria to the many species of plankton - basically glowing light in the water. We can't wait to show you!
