Getting to Sealegs Adventure Centre

The community of Ladysmith is a one hour scenic drive north of Victoria or 20 minutes south of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. Nanaimo has the closest airport and ferry port to Ladysmith.

Hour of Operation - Month of September

We are open 7 days a week unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe for paddling. Our office is open at 9:30 a.m.  Our daily wildlife tours run at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

October - March - By Appointment

Hours of Operation -Summer Months

We are open 7 days a week during the summer months unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe for paddling. We encourage clients to call ahead to book a lesson, rental or tour to avoid wait times.

Our office is open at 9 am daily. When booking, please allow time for fittings and lesson.

From the North (Nanaimo Airport, Nanaimo Ferries)

As you enter the town of Ladysmith, turn left at the second set of traffic lights, this is Transfer Beach Boulevard. Follow the boulevard, keeping to the right until you reach the parking lot at the beach. Once you park and walk toward the beach, you will start to see our kayak and Eco Adventure Centre to the right just past the children's playground & water park.

From the South (Victoria, Duncan)

As you enter the town of Ladysmith, turn right at the second set of traffic lights. This is Transfer Beach Boulevard. Follow the boulevard, keeping to the right until you reach the parking lot at the beach. Once you park and walk toward the beach, you will start to see our kayak and Eco Adventure Centre to the right just past the children's playground & water park.

There is plenty of FREE parking at Transfer Beach Park.
