This
recipe was designed by Sealegs as a tribute to the Trans Canada
Trail celebrations in the Year 2000. In typical small town fashion,
the town of Ladysmith embraced the relay and supported the national
venture. The Ladysmith portion of the trail system includes a section
accessible only by water. Bud was honoured to be one of the
relay participants to paddle in the water leg of the Trans Canada
Trail Relay. The students of Ladysmith Secondary School involved
themselves by baking hundreds of Trans Canada Trail cookies to distribute
to all celebrants. The cookies were a tasty hit and made our community's
celebration unique. Give the recipe a try and feel part of Canadian
