 Our
full moon tours are a howl! This 2.5 hr. tour is
a great opportunity to share with friends and family, see the lights
of the hillside community of Ladysmith, experience the magic of
phosphorescence, and listen to the silence of the night. The moon
always looks bigger, better and brighter viewed from the water.
Follow the lights of the moon rays back to shore where you will
enjoy a warm beverage and baked goodies.
Where do we go? We'll
head across to Woods Island then paddle around Bute and Dunsmuir
Islands and along Shell Beach - all within the quiet, sheltered
waters of the Ladysmith Harbour.

What to bring:
- A flashlight that can be strapped to the deck
of the kayak - headlamps also work great! It
is very important to bring a flashlight. There
is a $3 charge for flashlight
rentals!
- Wear a white hat and long sleeved shirt or jacket if possible.
- Water bottle.
- Shorts or pants that can be hiked up above the knees. We will
get wet entering and exiting the kayak in shallow water.
- Sunglasses, hat, sunscreen , dry clothing for your return to
shore
- Camera (waterproof disposables work well)
- Footwear - aquasocks or neoprene booties, 'Teva'-like sandals
or sandals with ankle support, old running shoes.
