Vancouver Island professional sea kayak guides take time to properly fit you into your kayak and pfd, teach paddling basics and help you get in and out of your kayak. Allow 3 hours of your time for this tour. On-water time will be 2 hours

Tours depart from Transfer Beach Park, Ladysmith. We will explore the Ladysmith Harbour and paddle by Woods, Bute and Dunsmuir Islands. Chances are you will spot bald eagles, harbour seals, sea lions, waterfowl and view the intertidal sea critters our guides unmask from intertidal waters. Discover why Harrowsmith Magazine named the Town Of Ladysmith "One of the Prettiest Towns in Canada". You will discover why the harbour is the town jewel in this quaint, quiet community by the sea.

What to Bring:

• Wear clothing appropriate for varied weather conditions, ie. gloves for cooler temperatures
• Shorts or quick drying pants
• Personalized first-aid kit (ie. antihistamine, Tylenol, duct tape)
• Sunglasses, hat, sunscreen & change of clothing
• Waterproof bag to store dry cloths (garbage or zip lock bag)
• Plastic water bottle and water (2 litres)
• Personal toiletries and towel
• Rainproof jacket
